I started cross training about 3 months ago, and I've noticed a big improvement in my running and stamina. I've PB'd every race I have competed since trying different training methods (HIIT & MET CON) .... Even a half marathon by 10 minutes !!!! The classes are tough but enjoyable, and the instructors are extremely helpful and encouraging. They help to push you on, when you feel like you can't go any further, and the rewards speak for themselves.
Hiit & Met con is a brilliant and enjoyable way to improve your running. It certainly has worked for me and I cannot recommend it enough. In just 2 months, I've managed to improve on my race times, feel much stronger as well as generally much better, suffer no more from niggles and run my first marathon at Eden in 4:06 hrs, much quicker than I'd hoped or expected. I found the guys at Saints Gym to be really helpful and professional, classes are as challenging as you make them and if you want to be pushed hard, they'll certainly do that!
